June is LGBTQ+ Pride month, and to celebrate we have planned a number of activities. on 28 June our training team will be holding a course entitled Pride and Prejudice: supporting LGBTQ+ Young People. The course will include a number of LGBTQ+ subjects including: identity, the issues young people face, terminology, the support you can offer and where to find expert help and advice.
We will also be releasing a series of short articles from one of our experienced trainers, Mike Mainwaring. The articles focus on subjects including: The history of LGBTQ+, Intersectionality, The Erosion of Rights, and Have Pride in Children and Young People. We will be posting all articles on this page as they get released. So check back here for more info or keep an eye on our twitter feed for new articles!
