Estyn has released a new report on effective school support for disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils. The report has been published in response to a request from the Welsh Government in the Minister's annual remit letter to Estyn for 2019-2020. The report involved collating information from primary, secondary and special school across Wales with varying contextual factors such as size, levels of social deprivation, language medium and location. From this survey, the report has identified effective school practices to support disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils. It includes practice case studies that highlight how successful providers have supported these pupils and make a difference to their wellbeing and achievement. The full report can be found here.
