Reflecting Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which recognises every child’s right to the highest attainable standard of health and access to healthcare, this edition explores how we can work together to ensure babies, children and young people have the support they need to thrive. It also reflects a key ambition of the Children in Wales Champions for Children Manifesto 2025/26: “We want children to be free from poor physical and mental health, and to receive the help and support when need arises.”
Bringing together the experiences and expertise of our members, this edition celebrates the breadth of work taking place across Wales to make this vision a reality. Through practical examples, professional insight, personal reflection and lived experience, the magazine explores what it takes to support babies, children and young people to be healthy. The contributions are inspiring and thought-provoking, highlighting what can be achieved when children’s rights are respected, protected and fulfilled.
We are incredibly grateful to all our members who have contributed to this edition, sharing the dedication, compassion and innovation at the heart of their work. We are proud to showcase their stories and celebrate the positive difference they are making to the lives of babies, children and young people across Wales. Please download the magazine here:
