In 2024, Cadwyn Housing Association, approached Professional Development and Training at Children in Wales following Safeguarding training we had delivered. Having previously accessed Motivational Interviewing training elsewhere, the team were seeking a high-quality refresher tailored specifically to housing officers. Two in person sessions were commissioned, with a further refresher booked for 2025.

The bespoke programme focused on strengthening questioning techniques, deepening understanding of change talk and embedding reflective practice within tenancy support conversations. Delegates particularly valued the structured reflection questions and realistic scenarios.

Similarly, the Early Intervention Locality Team at Bridgend County Borough Council, contacted Professional Development and Training at Children in Wales after receiving our featured training flyer. Two in person sessions were delivered for Family Support Officers and Flying Start staff.
