Welsh Government is launching the Corporate Parenting Charter today.
Corporate parenting promotes the collective responsibility of local authorities to safeguard and promote the rights and life chances of care-experienced children and young people. Children can find more information about their rights here: UNCRC Children's Rights
Welsh Ministers and Welsh Government are signing up to the Charter and setting the precedent for all public bodies across Wales as well as private sector organisations. The First Minister and the Permanent Secretary have signed the Charter.
