The Right Way: a children’s human rights approach to additional learning needs sets out how local authorities and health boards can fulfill duties of due regard to children’s human rights under the Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal Act 2018.
Resources also include an adult guided step-by-step accessible participation toolkit. This sets out how to support a group of children and young people to take part in decision making about how to make a service better. This is an accessible toolkit, designed to be used with all children, including those with additional learning needs.
