Children in Wales – Annual General Meeting
All members are welcome to the Children in Wales AGM, which will be held on Wednesday, 12 October 2022 at 3.30pm. This year, you will be able to attend either in person at our offices in Cardiff or via Zoom.
This meeting will be the last for our current Chair, Dave Williams, who will be standing down after two full terms of office. Throughout his tenure, Dave has always demonstrated his strong commitment to children’s rights and voice – he was very proud that his place of work, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, were amongst the inaugural recipients of the Kitemark Award for participation. During his time as Chair, Dave has guided us through the challenges of COVID as well as leading and overseeing the organisation through significant changes with a new CEO. Children in Wales has very much appreciated Dave’s support at the numerous meetings he has chaired and attended on our behalf. He’s been an excellent Chair, and we will certainly miss him. A new Chair will be announced at the AGM.

If you can’t make it, we would be extremely grateful if you could complete a Proxy voting form, which will help us be quorate so that we can approve the annual accounts and any other agenda items.
