The Parent Carer Experience - Hosted by Jolene, Kim and Andi

Disclaimer – the views in these podcasts are personal views of the individuals who are presenting. They may not represent all experiences with schools or individuals across Wales.

This series is about what is really means to be a parent carer, the power of lived experience and how parents and professionals can work together in genuine partnership to be the change we want to see for children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Voices 4 Bettws is a parent-led training program built from real experiences of navigating the ALN system in Wales. It’s rooted in community, trust and the belief that families and professionals working side by side can create better outcomes for children.

Across these episodes we will be sharing honest conversations, practical insight and the reality behind policies and processes. We will explore what works, what doesn’t work and what needs to change so that the support truly meets families where they are. This series is about listening, learning and building a system that puts children first.
