National Safeguarding Training, Learning and Development Standards

Children in Wales offers Safeguarding training in line with the National Safeguarding Training, Learning and Development Standards available at Social Care Wales.

These include; half day Group A,  1 day Group B  Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk, and 2 day Group C Designated Safeguarding Lead training.

Our courses contain relevant information to meet the learning outcomes outlined in the Training, Learning and Development Standards for practitioners.

All our trainers have significant experience in the practical application of safeguarding children across different roles and agencies within social care settings.

Our training content is regularly reviewed to ensure that learners have access to the latest developments in research and practice. We apply vigorous standards of monitoring and evaluation to all our work.
