Development Officer (Getting Ready Project)  

Do you believe that care experience young people have a right to accurate and timely information, and should be fully prepared and supported to safely transition from care? Are you committed to empowering vulnerable young people and striving to prevent all forms of homelessness?

By developing and delivering a suite of engaging and interactive resources for professionals and care experienced young people, you will strive to empower care experienced young people by enhancing knowledge of their rights and entitlements as they begin the process of transitioning from care. 

This post is one strand of the ‘Getting Ready Project’, a collaboration between Children in Wales and Voices from Care Cymru funded by the Welsh Government.

Please note this project began in 2019 and funding has  currently been secured until March 2025.  An extension to this will  require a successful submission to Welsh Government
