"I am delighted to launch a new Vision and Mission as we build towards our 30th anniversary as an organisation.
These guiding statements were co-produced through a rigorous process of collaboration with our members, children and young people, and staff.
Our new Vision and Mission reflect our proud history and our unique status as the representative membership organisation for the children and families sector in Wales, whilst also determinedly looking towards the future and the next chapter for progressing the rights of children across Wales.
During the co-production process, the most striking comment came from a young person, who said that the statements should ‘give a sense of hope’ and ‘be positive about our future’. I hope we have achieved this with our statements.
We look forward to working with our members to progress, live and fulfil our Vision and Mission statements." - Owen Evans, CEO
