Children in Wales Policy Council meeting focuses on babies, children and young people’s mental health

The policy council met on Wednesday 17^th September 2025, with a focus on children’s mental health.  Sarah Murphy, Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing, attended the meeting to discuss the mental health strategy for Wales.  A presentation was given by Simon Jones, Mind Cymru, and Amy Bainton, Barnardos, on behalf of the Babies, Children and Young People’s Mental Health network.  The presentation focused on the mental health strategy and key priorities for children’s mental health for the current and next Welsh Government.  Follow the link below to view the presentation.
