In December 2022 the Wales UNCRC Monitoring Group, facilitated by Children in Wales, submitted the State of Children’s Rights in Wales report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
At this webinar delegates heard from two of the contributors to the Report and representatives at the UN Committee session - Sean O’Neill (Children in Wales) and Dr Rhian Croke (Children’s Legal Centre, Swansea University) - alongside Arthur Isaac, a young person representing Young Wales - who presented some of the main issues in the report and offered their reflections on the examination process and hopes ahead of the UN Committee’s examination of the UK and Devolved Governments in May.
