Congratulations to Sarah Morris who has won a £50 Amazon voucher in the Parents Connect Wales ‘Places and Spaces’ photo competition as part of ‘The Big Conversation’.
Throughout July 2025, we used a creative way to reach out to parents to find out what places and spaces are important to them. All entries were placed in a prize draw.
Parents have told us they want more affordable and accessible places for children and families to enjoy. We received a range of photos sharing unique insight into the places or spaces that people love to spend time at with their family.
Whilst the winner was chosen by random, we enjoyed Sarah’s entry of her husband playing with her grandchild. Sarah told us, “We love taking our grandson to the beach, we have plenty to choose from in Pembrokeshire, but we go to our local one in Goodwick, where we also have a small park for them to enjoy.”
Thank you to everyone who entered the photo competition. We value your feedback and are glad to help in amplifying the voices of parents.
We would also like to congratulate Jo Farnden who won a £50 Amazon voucher. Jo was the winner of our prize draw for entries into our online survey.
This was launched as part of ‘The Big Conversation’ with parents and carers across Wales. It was a valuable opportunity for parents, guardians and carers to share their experiences and help shape future support for families. To find out more go to: Parents Connect Wales Hub
