Tackling Poverty Related Bullying

Children in Wales have produced a new guide to address poverty related bullying in schools, which recent studies suggest up to a third of children and young people may experience. This guide looks at how poverty related bullying may manifest in school life and the detrimental impact it can have. With input from children and young people, the guide identifies practical steps a school can take to prevent its occurrence and improve wellbeing and attainment for learners.
