Regarding current Parliamentary activity around Clause 37 of the EU Withdrawal Act and family reunion for unaccompanied children seeking to re-join their families in the UK.
The Welsh Government has published their Draft Budget for 2020/21, and despite the uncertainty of its approval after the recent general election, the draft includes promising steps towards solutions for poverty, and the effects it may have on the education of Welsh children. The End Child Poverty Network Cymru remain deeply concerned that levels of child poverty in Wales remain stubbornly high and predicted to sharply increase in the near future, with many more children and their families struggling to meet basic everyday costs and needs.
Welsh Government are currently seeking views on it's Race Equality Action Plan. Children in Wales will be coordinating a response to the action plan, and we want your views to help shape our response.
