A new Welsh Government campaign, launched on Monday, 15 February 2021, is encouraging new groups of people resident in Wales to make their voices heard in upcoming elections.
All responses to this consultation should be submitted by 11 September 2023.

This draft strategy has been co-constructed with families with lived experience of poverty and the organisations that support them.
The major levers for tackling poverty such as welfare benefits and many fiscal powers sit with the UK Government. However, Welsh Government state that they are determined to make maximum use of the powers available to them and implement Made in Wales solutions, working together with partners towards a Wales where every child, young person and family can prosper.

Welsh Government are currently seeking views on it's Race Equality Action Plan. Children in Wales will be coordinating a response to the action plan, and we want your views to help shape our response.
