2023 – 2024 is Children in Wales’ 30th anniversary year. To celebrate this important milestone, we asked schools, community groups, childcare and play settings to take part in our 30th anniversary bunting competition which was a creative opportunity for children and young people to learn more about children’s rights, while getting creative and having fun. They were asked to create a design that was based on the right that was most important to them.

We had over 100 entries and thank you to everyone who took part.  We thoroughly enjoyed looking through all the designs and were able to display them at the Young Wales Festival, which took place in Swansea on 18 November 2023.
