Parents Connect Wales has launched two new policy briefings, sharing what parents and carers across Wales told us during focus group consultations.
Social media, screen time and online safety
These focus groups explored screen time pressures, social media concerns, and what families need to feel safer online.
Healthy eating, nutrition and physical wellbeing
These explored everyday food choices, barriers to healthier routines and what support would make the biggest difference.
The briefings are part of The Big Conversation 2025 — a consultation led by Children in Wales. This aims to capture real experiences, highlight barriers that families face and support policy and service improvements across Wales.
Together, the two documents provide a clear overview of parental priorities and where further support and policy development may be needed. They are intended to shape more effective responses to what families are experiencing.
