Anti-Discriminatory Practice in Social Work: Promoting Equity and Inclusion

This one-day course supports social workers in recognising and challenging discrimination within their practice. It explores how personal beliefs, experiences, and unconscious bias can influence professional conduct and affect service users. Participants will examine the impact of exclusion, disempowerment, and inequality, and learn how to apply anti-discriminatory principles through a structural and rights-based lens.
