Supporting LGBTQ+ Young People

This one-day course explores the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth, including the coming out process, bullying, gender identity, and sexuality. It equips professionals with the knowledge and tools to provide inclusive, rights-based support to young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning. The training will also address safeguarding concerns such as self-harm, substance misuse, and Child Sexual and Criminal Exploitation, with a focus on trauma-informed and compassionate responses.
