Public Accounts Committee inquiry into Care Experienced Children and Young People, September 2017

This is children in Wales’ response to the National Assembly for Wales Public Accounts Committee consultation for the inquiry into care-experienced children and young people.

Children in Wales believes that those in care should be treated as children first and foremost, with their own needs and ambitions; but these children and young people face extra challenges and should be supported appropriately.

Our response focuses on getting value for money in providing services for care-experienced children and young people.
