New programme from British Academy reframes childhood public policy debates
02.12.19
A new programme from the British Academy is attempting to re-frame the way that we discuss policymaking about children.
The work, consisting of eight published papers on a range of topics, investigated changes to policy making and research relating to children. The papers include research activities from reviews of the policy making landscape, case studies and evidence on the effectiveness of the different approaches.
Four of the papers are case studies individual to the four nations of the UK, while the others cover all of the UK more generally.
Children in Wales was glad to be able to provide information for us in the paper ‘Young People Leaving Care: A Four Nations Perspective’.
