Measuring the Mountain: Report of a Citizen’s Jury, 06/02/2019 [W]

Measuring the Mountain has published a report of the findings of their Citizen’s Jury.

The jury took place in September 2018, and 14 citizens of Wales explored the question ‘What really matters in social care to individuals in Wales?’

The jury listened to evidence and compiled fifteen recommendations to highlight the important aspects of social care.

The recommendations included providing support through an independent, well trained, knowledgeable key worker to advocate and stand alongside anyone who approaches the social care system and related sectors and making the transition between adult and children’s services less disruptive.

You can read the full list of recommendations and the rest of the report here.
