European Union (Withdrawal) Bill 2017-2019


This Bill was introduced to the House of Commons on the 13 July 2017 by the Rt Hon David Davis MP.

The Bill is to repeal the European Communities Act 1972 and make provisions with regard to retaining EU law in the UK, as well to allow government ministers to alter that law through delegated powers.

The Bill passed its second reading in the House of Commons on Monday 11 September 2017.
