‘Don’t worry, I’m here for you’ – Children’s Commissioner for Wales’ survey of cyberbullying in Wales, 01/02/2019 [W]

The Children’s Commissioner for Wales has published their report on their survey of cyberbullying in Wales.

The report looks at the views of children aged 9 to 18 in Wales, and covers the views of over four hundred children and 150 professionals.

The Children’s Commissioner notes in the report that increased connectivity has allowed bullying to take place online as well as off, and that “its impact can be devastating on children’s lives.”

Parents and teachers, the report says, have struggled to adapt quickly enough to the changing online worlds that children are presented with, and that neither group works well enough with each other.
