National Assembly for Wales Cross Party Group on Children and Young People
Children in Wales serves as the secretariat for the National Assembly for Wales Cross Party Group on Children and Young People. This group allows Children in Wales and the AMs who make up the group’s chair and vice chairs to discuss issues that are important, hear from experts in the field and present these issues to Assembly Members.
The group is sponsored by Julie Morgan AM, who is the group Chair. David Melding AM and Llyr Gruffydd AM are both Co-Vice Chairs of the group.
The last meeting of the Cross Party Group on Children and Young People was on 04 July 2018. The meeting focused on Social Cohesion and the Cross Party Group’s Annual General Meeting.

All Party Parliamentary Group on Children in Wales
Children in Wales serves as the secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Children in Wales. Much like the Cross Party Group, the All Party Parliamentary Group on Children in Wales allows Welsh Members of Parliament to get together with experts in the field to discuss issues of concern to children, young people and families in Wales.
The group is chaired by Carolyn Harris MP.
The last meeting of the All Part Parliamentary Group on Children in Wales focused on poverty.
This group is only open to MPs and Peers.
