Training
Children in Wales provides a range of multi-disciplinary training courses which aim to promote an integrated approach for all those working in the statutory, third and independent sectors. The courses draw on the resources of our own specialist staff team, and a national network of expert individuals and organisations, to deliver high quality training events at a variety of venues across Wales. Our training courses are aimed at people working in Wales, and reflect the Welsh context and increasing divergence from child and family policy in England.
CONTINUE YOUR LEARNING ONLINE
During these challenging times, Children in Wales remains committed to ensuring that your training needs are met. That is why we are continuing to take your training bookings or queries for both open and bespoke training.
Feedback from our online Knife Crime course
“The training was delivered well via teams, well done in a very challenging times!” – YW, Flintshire
“I found it was all useful and how it was delivered by Mike I especially liked his examples he gave.” – IFSS Worker, Ceredigion
“I Work with teenage boys who think it’s cool to hang around in gangs and very often they find themselves in the wrong place and time due to their naivity and chopsing. More knowledge I have the more I can educate them.” – Well-being classroom leader, Plasmawr School
Open Training
Children in Wales has a programme of open training courses. The courses are organised on a range of issues, held at venues across Wales and are open to anyone. Registration for courses is on a first come first served basis and places are limited so early booking is advisable, and substantial discounts are available for Children in Wales members. Some of our open training courses are now accredited.
