LAUNCHED TODAY: Swansea University survey for the early years sector
Children in Wales would like to ask for your assistance in completing and sharing with colleagues the anonymous online survey (see link below). Swansea University is trying to better understand the impact of the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic on Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) provision in the UK.
The University is looking for input from people who work in the early years sector (with children aged 0-8) — practitioners, childcare workers, setting managers, and teachers — about their experiences of working during the pandemic. They wish to better understand the impact of the changes that have been made, as well as practitioner perceptions of these changes; we focus on the impact of coronavirus on early years provision, practitioners and children.
The findings from this research will be used to better inform emerging policy and practice across the four nations of the UK, to better understand and support settings and schools in dealing with current and future events of this kind.
