The 20th November 2019 will signify the 30th year since the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) was created and we are all coming together, as organisations who support Children’s Rights in Wales, to celebrate this birthday.  This FREE celebratory event will recognise the journey that the UNCRC has been on in Wales to date, as well as looking what needs to be achieved in the future.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Mark Drakeford AM, First Minister of Wales
  • Julie Morgan AM, Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services
  • Sally Holland, Children’s Commissioner for Wales

There will also be plenty of input from young people from across Wales, a vibrant market place, workshops, round table discussions and much more!

  • Priority will be given to those who are able to bring children and young people to ensure a balance
