We are pleased to announce full details of Children in Wales’ annual conference – the flagship children’s sector event in Wales this autumn.

This year’s Annual Round Table conference will inform policy makers and practitioners and cast a spotlight on the differing policy and practice themes that affect children, young people and families in Wales. It will provide a platform for discussion and delegates will consider the implementation of new legislation and dealing with the challenges ahead.

Through presentations and panel sessions you will hear from a wide range of speakers who will provide the cross-cutting context in Wales by providing up-to-date information from their field of expertise.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Professor Robin Banerjee, Professor of Developmental Psychology at the University of Sussex
  • Rachel Thomas, Policy Adviser on Children’s Services, Children’s Commissioner for Wales
  • Sophie Howe, Future Generations Commissioner
  • Dr Andrew Goodall, Director General of Health and Social Services/Chief Executive, NHS Wales
