Preventing child injuries in Wales: Needs assessment, 23/08/17 [W]

Swansea University has published a report looking at child injuries in Wales and what needs to be done to prevent them. This needs assessment was commissioned by Public Health Wales.

14 children aged 0-17 years die from injuries each year, and remains one of the leading causes of death amongst young people.

The report says that these injuries are largely preventable and makes recommendations to improve injury prevention.
