The Emotional Well-Being of Unaccompanied Minors
The course aims to demystify mental wellbeing issues affecting refugee children/young people and develop further understanding of their overall needs. It will look at effects of war and persecution on the mental wellbeing of refugee children/young people as well as give participants the tools with which to assess the institution in which they work, identify factors that are detrimental to mental wellbeing and devise strategies that are protective.
