Conference and Meeting Facilities

 

Children in Wales is situated at 25 Windsor Place in the centre of Cardiff, close to Queen Street train station and Dumfries Place multi-storey car park. The whole building is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Please note that the building has a non-smoking policy. In addition to the standard equipment available in the rooms as listed below and included in the price of the room hire, arrangements can be made to hire our powerpoint projector. 

Main Conference Room

Situated on the ground floor, this room can accommodate up to 25 people theatre style, 20 people boardroom style and other layouts can be arranged.  The room is equipped with flip chart, screen, OHP, TV and video. 


Hire charges are:

Half Day (9am – 1pm; 1pm – 5pm) £70 (Non-Members - £100)

Full day (9am – 5pm) £100   (Non-Members - £150)

The room has access and facilities for disabled people. 

Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are charged at £2.00 p/p for a half day event and £3.50 per person for a full day event.

Addtional Equipment Available to Hire

  • Powerpoint Projector= £25 per day
  • Extra flipchart pads= £5 each
  • Photocopying = 10p per sheet
  • Any additional equipment can be hired by Children in Wales, but the room hirer would be charged the full fee plus delivery charge

Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings are made on this booking form and are confirmed in writing
  • An invoice will be sent to you immediately after your event for payment within 30 days
  • Cancellations can only be accepted in writing
  • Should you cancel your booking the following charges apply:
    • Three weeks prior to event 25% of fee
    • Two weeks prior to event 50% of fee
    • One week prior to event or failure to attend 100% of fee
