In its meeting of 25/09/08, the Children and Young People Committee discussed its draft work programme for the autumn term.

The Committee agreed that the Chair would write to other Committee chairs to ask that, when scruitinising Ministers on the draft budget 2009/10, the impact of budget expenditure on tackling child poverty be considered.

It also went into private session to discuss the draft report on child poverty in education.
