Child Poverty Implementation Plan Proposals Presented to Committee, 03/05/06, [W]

An update paper outlining the Deputy Minister for Social Justice and Regeneration’s proposals for the implementation of the Child Poverty Strategy was presented to the Social Justice and Regeneration Committee on the 3rd May 2006.

Annex A of the paper outlines the first phase of proposals and indicates how they will be implemented.

Annex B gives an update on the Child Poverty strategy outlining what the Assembly is doing and will continue to do over the next 12 months.

Annex C identifies major policy areas where the Welsh Assembly Government has committed to developing targets and will set medium term (2010) milestones and long- term (2020) targets so that they can be measured over time.
