Internet safety website launched to protect children and young people, 23/10/08 [W]

The Welsh Assembly Government has launched a new web page to promote guidelines on positive, safe use of the internet in response to a growth in its use amongst children and young people in recent years.

The web page aims to educate everybody from head teachers to local education authorities and classroom support staff on how best to utilise the wealth of information the internet can offer, without compromising the safety of users.

The webpage can be found on NGFL Cymru’s website.
