Minister outlines further details of NHS Reorganisation, 30/9/08 [W]

Health Minister, Edwina Hart, set out further details of the planned NHS Reorganisation during the plenary session of 30 September 2008. The Minister explained that a National Advisory Board and a separate Delivery Board were to be established.  There would also be further work undertaken on whether the seven new bodies will be allocated some of the responsibilities of Health Commission Wales.  A Unified Public Health organisation will be formed in line with the Assembly Government's One Wales commitment.

More details are available in the National Assembly Record of Proceedings.
