CEOP reveals online child sex offender tactics, 12/09/08 [W/E/NI/S]

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) reports that child sex offenders are using increasingly intimidating tactics to engage with and exploit children, with some paedophiles running several e-mail accounts and sending out hundreds of messages to children each day. Despite the trends, the CEOP Centre insists that parents should be concerned but not alarmed at these new developments and parents themselves can take a few simple steps to help keep their children safe whilst surfing the internet.

Further information is available on the CEOP website.
