Progress of the LCO on the provision of bus and coach services.
The purpose of this LCO is to re-introduce a public service ethos to public transport provision, requiring local authorities to ensure that communities are well served by a regular, modern and safe bus service. The proposed LCO could also provide the Assembly with the necessary powers to improve school transport safety.
