The Public Bodies Act 2011 received Royal Assent on 14 December 2011.
This Act will allow Ministers to abolish, merge or transfer the functions of the public bodies listed in the schedules to the Act, including the Disability Living Allowance Advisory Board, and the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission. It also contains provisions for Welsh Ministers to modify, abolish or transfer functions of certain publilc bodies in Wales.
