Deputy First Minister, and Minister for the Economy and Transport, Ieuan Wyn Jones has launched a new Transport Strategy for Wales.

The strategy sets out specific long-term outcomes including:

• Improving access to healthcare
• Improving access to education, training and lifelong learning
• Encouraging healthy lifestyles
• Improving the safety of travel

The strategy can be downloaded from the Welsh Assembly Government website.
