'Drugs: protecting families and communities' - 2008-2018 strategy, 03/03/08 [W/E/NI/S]

The Home Office has published its drugs strategy which aims to restrict the supply of illegal drugs and reduce the demand for them. It focuses on protecting families and strengthening communities.

The strategy contains provisions for Wales in the areas of policing and the criminal justice system, including all aspects of offender management, and with regard to the work of the Department for Work and Pensions, the Serious Organised Crime Agency and HM Revenue and Customs.

The strategy can be downloaded from the Home Office website.
