All Wales Youth Offending Strategy: Delivery Plan 2009-2011, 03/09/09 [W]

The Delivery Plan sets out how the Welsh Assembly Government and the Youth Justice Board plan to achieve the objectives set out in the All Wales Youth Offending Strategy.

Six priority areas have been identified:

  1. Prevention of first-time offending
  2. Reducing reoffending
  3. Safe custody where required, leading to effective resettlement
  4. Increasing engagement in learning and employment
  5. Increasing access to suitable accommodation
  6. Timely access to substance misuse screening, assessment and treatment.#

The Delivery Plan is available to download from the Welsh Assembly Government website.
