The Wesh Assembly Government has launched a plan describing how they are going to tackle homelessness in Wales until 2019.

The strategic aims underlying the Plan are:

• Preventing homelessness wherever possible;
• Working across organisational and policy boundaries;
• Placing the service user at the centre of service delivery;
• Ensuring social inclusion and equality of access to services;
• Making the best use of resources.

A series of shorter-term, detailed, timed, action plans, will supplement the Plan.
