Single Equality Scheme, 01/04/09 [W]

The Welsh Assembly Government has launched its first Single Equality Scheme and action plans.

The Scheme sets out how the Assembly Government will deliver services to reflect the diversity of modern Welsh society. It also sets out how it will assess the impact of its work on different groups.

The action plans set out key actions that Government departments want to take forward over the next three years to deliver their commitment to promoting equality.

The scheme was developed following consultation carried out from November 2007 until early 2009.

The scheme can be downloaded from the Welsh Assembly Government website.
