Local Authority Budgets for Education: Wales and England Comparisons, 2009-10, 27/01/10 [W]

These figures, published by the Welsh Assembly Government, provide a comparison of local authority education budgets between England and Wales. They show that the average budgeted spend per pupil on local authority education in Wales in 2009-10 was £5,429.   This is an increase of  2.8% from the previous year however it is £527 per pupil lower than in England.
