Education Maintenance Allowances Awarded in Wales Update, Month Ending May 2009, 10/06/09

The latest statistics on Education Maintenance Allowances (EMAs) produced by the Student Loans Company.

The key point from the latest release is:

  • In the 2008/09 academic year to date, 35,730 applications for EMA have been received.  Of these, 32,470 have been approved and 700 rejected.
