NHS Immunisation, 2007-08, 25/11/08 [W]

This statistical release summarises information about the uptake of immunisation, primarily childhood immunisations, during the year ended 31 March 2008.

The key points from the latest release are:

Of the children who reached their 2nd birthday in the year ended 31 March 2008:

  • 97% had been immunised against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, pertussis (whooping cough) and haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib);
  • 94% had been immunised against meningitis C; and
  • 88% had been immunised against measles, mumps and rubella.
