Local Authority Registers of People with Disabilities, 31 March 2008, 29/10/08 [W]

The latest National Statistics on registers of people with disabilities.

The key points from the latest release are:

  • There were 14,137 people on registers of people with learning disabilities.
  • There were 81,823 people on registers of people with physical or sensory disabilities. Of these, 51,790 were registered as having a physical disability only.
